Big Sky is calling all Corvettes to Helena, MT for the weekend of Thursday, May 24 through Monday, May 28.

Our tour leader, Alton Loe, is making the plans for a great tour to a memorable event! We’ll be leaving from XXX Root Beer in Issaquah at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 24. The first day will take us to Thompson Falls, MT for the evening. Possible hotels in Thompson Falls are being sourced - stand by for more information later. You will want to make your hotel reservations at the Radisson Colonial Hotel in Helena. (Follow link to the event flyer.) Rooms are $129/night. Pets are an extra $50 for the length of the stay (only one pet fee, regardless of how many nights). Their phone number is 406-443-2100 and be sure to tell them you are with the Big Sky Corvette group. We will be there for 3 nights, beginning on the 25th.

The route as currently planned (not final yet) has us making a rest stop at the McDonalds in Cle Elum, followed by lunch in Cashmere. Then we head to the Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center (30 minutes to an hour stop). Next stop is Spokane (300 miles so far) for gas and then onto Thompson Falls, arriving about 7:30 PM. We would have been there at 6:30, but the time changes by an hour. This route makes a nice day of driving back roads. We will do 432 miles (give or take) in 9 hours, including stops.

Dinner will be in Thompson Falls.

Please contact Alton as soon as possible if you are interested in attending this event. He will be preparing a “packet” of information for all interested parties to be distributed sometime in March. Be sure to contact him so he’ll get a packet to you.
