The West Valley High School Key Club is hosting a car show at West Valley High School, 9800 Zier Rd, Yakima, WA, on May 4th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All profits from the event will go towards Ram Landing, a local charity that supplies clothing, toiletries, and other essentials to students and families in the area experiencing hardship or homelessness.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. at the location and there is a $10 registration fee for every car entered. Anyone is welcome to come watch for free. Any type of vehicle can be entered. Show cars will be displayed in the east parking lots, with parking for visitors in the other areas. There will be awards voted on by the audience, and the winners will get trophies made by the school’s shop students. The award categories are best in show, best truck, best classic vehicle, best modern vehicle, best interior, best exterior, best beater, best rat rod, best family car, best exotic, and best off-roader.
There will also be a vendor serving lunch, a raffle, entertainment, activities, and more. Arriving from 8-9 a.m. is best, and awards will be announced around 1:30 p.m. We would love to have your club members show their cars or attend as guests. The event will be rain or shine and we should be able to accommodate at least 50 members from your club.
